Apartment move checklist, step by step
An organised move is faster and cheaper — less handling time means a lower price. Here's what's worth preparing beforehand.
Two weeks before
Request the online estimate and confirm the date. Start sorting what to keep, donate or throw away — less volume means a lower price. Get boxes ready.
One week before
Pack what you don't use daily — books, decorations, seasonal clothes. Label boxes by room so unloading goes straight where it should.
Three days before
Disassemble large furniture that can be taken apart, or confirm if you need this as a service. Reconfirm the time, addresses and access (lift, parking, floors).
On moving day
Keep documents, valuables and ID papers with you, not in general boxes. Be available, or have someone trusted at both addresses.
After the move
Check items on delivery. Unpack what you need immediately first — bathroom, kitchen, bed. The rest can wait a few days.
What not to forget
Address changes for utilities, post and deliveries. A simple list of what's in each box helps a lot when unpacking.

How far in advance should I book?
We recommend at least a few days ahead, and earlier during busy periods (summer, end of month).
Do I have to pack everything myself?
Not necessarily — packing help is available as an optional service, especially for fragile items.
What about very fragile items?
Tell us in advance what's fragile so we prepare the right protection or discuss professional packing.
How long does a typical flat move take?
Depends on volume and floors, but a 2-3 room move usually takes a few hours from loading to unloading.
